We sometimes forget about our smallest living spaces—our offices, our cars, our closets, maybe a trailer or mobile space—and it’s time they got a little love. After all, it’s the small things that add up, isn’t it?
If you need a little pick-me-up, think about cleaning out your car. Yes, it’s going to be a bit of work, but it will be worth it. Chances are you use your car everyday. Think about how nice it would be getting in a clean, fresh car every morning before you start your day.
Do you own a mobile space like a trailer, food truck, or learning center? If so, show that small space some love too. There are great furniture options for small spaces which maximize space. Also, remember in these colder months to heat your small spaces. Take advantage of the fact there’s not as much air to heat and give yourself a nice and toasty place this winter.
It might be too early for spring cleaning, but that doesn’t mean you can’t start now. If you have clothes that you know you aren’t wearing, why wait to get rid of them? If you have a closet full of junk and snowed in, why not start to organize it?
If you’re anything like us, you spend a lot of time in your office. Why not make it as comfortable as possible? Organize your files and take out the junk. You don’t necessarily have to add a lot of personal touches, but it’s always nice to have a photo or trinket on your desk.
At the end of the day, it’s the small spaces that make your day.
