There is a big debate about the productivity and team engagement related to employees working from home. The debate has heated up with Yahoo’s mandate that it’s employees work from the office starting in June 2013. I don’t mind some employees working from home, especially the people who are not part of the creative process.
Team members who are hired to dream up new ideas and collaborate to solve problems seem to do a better job when they are in the same engaging environment – in my experience.
