In Praise Of Appreciation

Someone wise once said that the two most powerful words in the English language are “Thank you.”  This seems logical, and is the thrust of the linked article.  I would quibble slightly with the attached, in that, ideally, the person doing the thanking actually mean it, but there is no doubt that the act and practice of consistently expressing gratitude has the capacity to make the day of the recipient, and (not to be Machiavellian about it), inspire even more effort on his part.
