Like oil and water, do MBA’s and Start-Up Ventures really mix?

As an MBA, 90% of my class was enrolled to get their advanced degree for one reason – career advancement. One of my professors told us the only reason for someone to get an Masters of Business Administration is to learn new ways to think about business. When it comes to start ups, many MBA’s are bringing the old rules with them.
