For the last few years, off-and-on (mostly off, I admit), I have practiced something called Tapping. Tapping is part of the Emotional Freedom Technique. In this, one taps on certain energy points on the body, while declaring self-acceptance, or affirmation. It is, as far as I understand, largely based on acupuncture.
