When…And How…To Say “No”

Being a good colleague, volunteer, or, in general, person means saying “yes” when asked to help others.  On the other hand, when your in-box, to-do list and sense of community giving all are full, it may behoove you (and those to whom you already have commitments) to decline an offer or request.

Sometimes, doing this isn’t all that easy, but Peter Bregman gives us some good ideas on how to approach what can be a difficult conversation.
