Lest anyone forget, the tomato (Solanum lycopersicum) is not a vegetable; it is a fruit. In a recent conversation my friend R.J. Mey, he showed me a nifty little productivity tool: The Pomodoro Timer (“Pomodoro” being Italian for “Tomato” – so when you buy Pomodoro tomatoes, you are buying, literally, Tomato tomatoes).
When using the Pomodoro Technique, (created by Francesco Cirillo), we, in essence, break up our work into 25-minute spans of time, after which we take a five- or ten-minute break.
.
..Now, get back to work.
