Google’s ultrafast Internet draws startups to KC

California’s Silicon Valley … move over. Massachusettes’ Route 128 … make way. Michigan’s Automation Alley … take a step to the side. There’s a new tech hot spot in the United States.   Thanks to Google’s ultrafast Internet (a gigabyte per second),  startups and tech companies are being drawn to Kansas City in hopes of creating a ‘Silicon Prairie.’
