Google Reader To Be Retired (Part 1 of 2)

For many, Google Reader has come to be a valuable tool to aggregate and organize content obtained from web feeds.  However, as with all things Google (and life, for that matter), change is inevitable, and, as of July 1st of this year, Google will do away with Reader.

What will this mean to users?  They may be pleased to know that Feedly is due to launch its own clone service.
