Earvin “Magic” Johnson knows a thing or two about success.
Johnson won five NBA Championships with the Los Angeles Lakers, an NCAA Championship at Michigan State University, and was a High School State Champion at Lansing Everett High School. With his health issues in remission, Johnson has attacked the world of business just as zealously as he did basketball greatness. His company, Magic Johnson Enterprises, has diverse business interests, which include food services, and broadcast and entertainment properties, located in 125 cities, in 35 states. Johnson is also part of an ownership group that purchased the Los Angeles Dodgers last summer for a record $2 billion.
The secret to his success? “Dream high.” Here’s a recap of a recent speech Johnson gave in Washington DC: http://www.bizjournals.com/washington/blog/2013/02/magic-johnson-entrepreneurs.html?page=all
